Downtown Design Guidelines and Facade Case Studies
The City of Princeton has been working with MacDonald and Mack Architects to create design guidelines for the downtown business district to assist decision-makers in preserving Princeton's buildings and enhancing downtown's appeal, ensuring the long-term success of the heart of Princeton. These guidelines are not rigid rules but recommendations for building owners on how exterior improvements can improve the overall character of the downtown. The city has matching facade grants available to assist building owners who wish to make exterior improvements that fall within these guidelines.
