Alzheimer's & Dementia Awareness: The Princeton Police Department is dedicated to keeping the residents of Princeton safe, especially those with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/D), who may leave their home and become lost. For that reason, we offer a free Adult Information Kit for families and caregivers who are caring for someone with AD/D. In addition, we strive to help make Princeton a "dementia friendly community" so that persons with Alzheimer's disease and dementia are met with understanding and support. Read more information and download the Kit and brochure here. We are in the process of putting together a brochure for business owners, "Becoming a Dementia Friendly Business," which you will be hearing more about in the near future.
