Part Time Fire Chief
The City of Princeton is accepting applications for the position of part-time Fire Chief.  The Fire Chief administers and coordinates fire protection, suppression and prevention in the City of Princeton and the adjacent Townships served by the Princeton Fire and Rescue Department (PFRD) under contract.  The Fire Chief ensures an effective and efficient operation, schedules training, supervises firefighters, identifies department needs for equipment, manages the operating and capital budgets of the Department.

Hours are up to 20 hours per week, salary is $42,775 to $57,275 annually. Application deadline is March 22, 2024 at 3:00 pm.  See: Full Description of Position

Wastewater Operator - General Maintenance

Assists the WWTP Operations Manager in performing a variety of skilled technical duties and semi-skilled labor in the operation and maintenance of the Princeton Wastewater Treatment Plant. Responsible for performing adjustments and repairs to plant equipment and collecting and documenting samples for laboratory testing. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the plant. Splash Park Attendants (Summer Seasonal Position)
The City of Princeton is hiring Splash Park Attendants to work at the Splash Park this summer. Must be a minimum of 15 years of age. This is a seasonal part-time hourly (non-exempt) position. Attendance on evenings, weekends and/or holidays is required. Minimum of 15 hours per week, which includes weekends, during the Splash Pad operating season (Memorial Day through Labor Day).  Reliable transportation to and from the Splash Park is required.  Starting pay is $12 per hour. Position is responsible for the supervision of the public and daily operations of the Splash Park. CPR and First Aid training will be provided. Community Development, Recreation, Marketing, and Communications Coordinator Intern (Summer Seasonal Position)
Responsible for the coordination of the City of Princeton's special events partnering with the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism. Facilitation of internal and external communication, marketing and funding sources as appropriate for various events.
