Eligibility List Posting – Police Officer CITY OF PRINCETON PRINCETON, MN
Police Officer-Salary Range: $26.53 - $36.39

The City of Princeton is creating a police officer eligibility roster for future openings. Those eligible and encouraged to apply include: officers desiring to make a lateral transfer, those completing law enforcement skills in 2021, and those who have competed law enforcement skills but are not yet P.O.S.T licensed. Specific job expectations and requirements are identified in the job description. Candidates must successfully complete the interview evaluation process, background check, psychological exam, and physical fitness exam that are required for the position.

General Duties:
To perform protection, prevention, enforcement, call response, pursuit, investigation, arrest, reporting, testifying in court and related community policing responsibilities in order to preserve the peace and promote the safety of citizens throughout the City of Princeton.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate's degree and / or certificate in law enforcement.
• Must be P.O.S.T. licensed or eligible prior to hiring.
• Must successfully pass a background investigation and complete a one-year probationary period.
