The 7-member City Park & Recreation Advisory Board is appointed by the City Council and responsible for the general oversight of the city parks, recreational facilities, open spaces, and trails. The board makes recommendations to the City Council regarding improvements to the city park system. The board meets at 6:00 PM on the 4th Monday of each month at a local park chosen by the Park Board. In the event of inclement weather the meetings will be held at City Hall. The Park and Rec Advisory Board meetings are staffed by the Public Works Director, Bob Gerold.
